Wind turbine is a prime mover.It rotates the generator which produce electricity.
Explanation:
When a coil of copper wire is moved inside a magnetic field current is produced in the coil..This is the principle of Generator..Here wind energy is converted into mechanical energy by wind turbine.
Wind energy push the blades of wind turbrine and so it rotates.This motion is applied to generator which produce current.
