How do you combine #(3v-2) + (6-v)#?

You just add like terms, it's easy! Just remove parentheses because the terms inside cannot be simplified further.....
#(3v-2)+(6-v)#...........1st you do #3v-v# which equals #2v#. Then you do #-2+6# which equals #4#. Your answer is: #2v+4#.
Remember, your variable numbers always go 1st in abc order.
