A function $f(x)$ is said to be odd if $f(-x)=-f(x)$

AND

A function $f(x)$ is said to be even if $f(-x)=f(x)$

In our case the given function is $f(x)=4x^2-4)$

If we plug in $x=-x$ we get

$f(-x)=4(-x)^2-4=4x^2-4=f(x)->$ This means $f(x)$ is EVEN
