How do you determine the quadrant in which -1 radians lies?

To be clear about what is a radian, remember $\pi$ radians, or 3.14 radians equal to ${180}^{o}$. Thus 1 radians is about ${57.32}^{o}$.
Now move clockwise , from the initial position of ${0}^{o}$ or 0 rad to record $- {57.32}^{o}$, which would clearly be confined in the IVth Quadrant
