$= \frac{2 {a}^{4} {b}^{3}}{{a}^{2} \cdot b}$

To make the calculations easier, we group the same coefficients together.

$= 2 \left({a}^{4} / {a}^{2}\right) \cdot \left(\frac{{b}^{3}}{b}\right)$

In general, color(blue)(a^m/a^n = a^(m-n)

$= 2 \cdot {a}^{4 - 2} \cdot {b}^{3 - 1}$
