There are many .. #(6, 4) (9 , 8)# etc

Explanation:

First change the equation into an easier form:
#3y = 4x - 12#
#y = 4/3x - 4#

Now choose values of #x# and substitute to find #y#.

However, it will be easier to use multiples of 3 for values of #x#.

eg. If #x = 6#, then # y = 4/3 xx 6 - 4 = 4# #rArr (6,4)#

If #x = 9#, then # y = 4/3 xx 9 - 4 = 8# #rArr (9,8)# and so on.
