You have to evaluate your function in the interval and then divide by the interval:
`f(-4)=3(-4^3)-2(-4)=-184`
`f(4)=3(4^3)-2(4)=184`

So mean slope: `(f(4)-f(-4))/(4-(-4))=(184+184)/8=46`
