The intercepts are when $x = 0 \mathmr{and} y = 0$
$y$-intercept ($x = 0$):
$4 \cdot 0 - 3 y = 24 \to y = \frac{24}{- 3} = - 8 \to \left(0 , - 8\right)$
$x$-intercept ($y = 0$):
$4 x - 3 \cdot 0 = 24 \to x = \frac{24}{4} = 6 \to \left(6 , 0\right)$
