# How do you find the pH of a buffer solution?

$p H = p {K}_{a} + {\log}_{10} \left\{\frac{\left[{A}^{-}\right]}{\left[H A\right]}\right\}$
And of course we can use this to model the solution behaviour in particular circumstances. However, all science relies on measurement. We must measure the $p H$ if we wish to see if that equation holds true.
