How do you find the x and y intercepts of y=x?

The x-intercept will be when $y = 0$. If we solve for this we see that $x = 0$ so the point (0,0) is the x-intercept.
The y-intercept will be when $x = 0$. If we solve for this we see that $y = 0$ so the point (0,0) is also the y-intercept.
