How do you graph point A (-x,-y) on a coordinate plane and how do you know in which quadrant you should graph point A?

if there is no number, just put the point in quadrant III.

Since x is negative that means point A could be in quadrant iii or ii, but since y is also negative that singles out quadrant ii leaving point A in quadrant iii
