We have the equation, x - 2y = 6

Since this is the equation of a straight line thus obtaining 2 points on the line shall be sufficient.

First put x=0
This gives, y= -3

Now, put y = 0
This gives, x=6

Thus points (0,-3) and (6,0) lie on the line.

Plot the two points and join them with a ruler and you're done.
