How do you graph the linear equation, y=2x+7?

Please tell me every step because I don't know how to do this stuff.

#Y# is the #y# coordinate, #m# is the gradient and #c# is the #y# intercept.

Multiply #2# by the #x# value, then plus #7# to the answer to get the #y# value for the certain #x# coordinate. For example...

for #x=2#

# y = (2 xx 2 ) + 7 = 4+ 7 = 11 #

We get #color(red)( (2,11) #
