When the line crosses the y-axis the x-coord will be zero.
Letting x=0, substitute into equation to find y-coord.

x=0 : y = 0 + 6 = 6 → ( 0 , 6 )

Similarly when the line crosses the x-axis , y will be zero.

y=0 : # 1/2 x + 6 = 0 → 1/2 x = -6 → x = -12 → ( - 12 , 0 )#

For the 3rd point choose any value of x , say x = 2

x = 2 : y = 1 + 6 = 7 → ( 2 , 7 )

Plot the points (0 , 6 ) , ( -12 , 0 ) and (2,7) and draw a line
