Explanation:

1) putting the divisor in the left side of the division line, and the dividend in the right side.
2) then go ahead by dividing the first term of the numerator by the first term of the denominator, and put that in the answer.
3) Then Multiply the denominator by that answer, put that below the numerator
4) Subtract to create a new polynomial
5) Repeat, using the new polynomial, until either you have no numbers left, or if you do have any left at the end, that will be your remainder.
