We have #y = (-5x^(2/5))*(-2x_1^3)#

By associative and commutative properties of ordinary multiplication,

#y = [(-2)*(-5)][x^(2/5)*x_1^3]#
#implies y = 10x^(2/5)x_1^3#

That's all the simplification one can do with the expression.
