How do you simplify #(16)^(1/2) * (27)^(2/3)#?

1) the expression ^(1/2) means that, you should take the square root of the number.
2) ^(2/3) means that, you should take a square of that number and then take a cube root. (this order can change, its up to you :) )

If i make a generalization;
#m^(a/b)# means #rootb(m^a)#

so the answer will be;

#16^(1/2) .(27)^(2/3)# = # 4 * 3^2# = #4 * 9# = 36
