Explanation:

In the same that ${a}^{5} = a \times a \times a \times a \times a$

Then ${\left(\frac{2}{x}\right)}^{5}$ has the same process applied to all the contents of the brackets in that we have:

${\left(\frac{2}{x}\right)}^{5} = \left(\frac{2}{x}\right) \times \left(\frac{2}{x}\right) \times \left(\frac{2}{x}\right) \times \left(\frac{2}{x}\right) \times \left(\frac{2}{x}\right)$

$= \frac{{2}^{5}}{x} ^ 5$

$= \frac{32}{x} ^ 5$
