How do you simplify (-4n^3 p^-5)/ (n^-2)?

-4 ${n}^{5} / {p}^{5}$
${x}^{-} 1$ means that its the reciprocal of x
such that ${x}^{-} 1 = \frac{1}{x}$
hence by applying this on the fraction we get $\frac{- 4 {n}^{3.} {n}^{2}}{p} ^ 5$
and now as the powers of same variables in multiplication add up so $\frac{- 4 {n}^{3 + 2}}{p} ^ 5$
which is simply $\frac{- 4 {n}^{5}}{p} ^ 5$
