The answer is 15, as given before. But the method can be streamlined.

Explanation:

In any calculation, ALWAYS count the number of terms first.

Each term must have a value. Once you have the individual values, you can just work from left to right, or you can look at all the terms and streamline the process and thinking.
There are 8 terms given here, only the last one involves a calculation. 5 x 0 = 0, so the last term can be ignored.
