When we are faced with a division by a decimal, change the denominator to a whole number.

$(50,000)/0.001 xx 1000/1000 = (50,000,000)/1$

= $50,000,000$

Notice that $1000/1000 =1$ so by multiplying by 1, we are not changing the value of the fraction at all, just what it looks like.
