How do you simplify (m + 4) / (m - 6) and what are the restrictions?

$\frac{m + 4}{m - 6} = \frac{m - 6 + 10}{m - 6}$
$= \frac{m - 6}{m - 6} + \frac{10}{m - 6}$
$= 1 + \frac{10}{m - 6}$
with restriction $m \ne 6$
