$\frac{\sqrt{{x}^{5}}}{\sqrt{{x}^{3}}} = \sqrt{{x}^{5} / {x}^{3}} = \sqrt{{x}^{2}} , x > 0$
$= x , x \ge 0$
The restriction on the domain is necessary , since the original function does not make sence in $\mathbb{R}$ for negative numbers.
