#=((cos^2t - sin^2t)/cos^2t)/((cos^2t + sin^2t)/(cos^2t)) + 1#

#=(cos^2t - sin^2t)/(cos^2t) xx cos^2t/(cos^2t + sin^2t)#

Apply the identity #sin^2theta + cos^2theta = 1#.
