So when you have a paranthesis with ONE variable with an exponent and there's an exponent out of the bracket then multiply them, in this case :

#(y³)⁵=y³^*5=y^15#

Then take 15+4 = 19 so:

#y¹5*y⁴= y¹5⁺4= y¹9#
