From the first eqn., we get, $- 10 x = - 4 y - 64$, & sub.ing this $- 10 x$ in second eqn. we have,

$- 4 y - 64 - 8 y = - 112 \Rightarrow - 12 y = 64 - 112 = - 48.$

$\Rightarrow y = - \frac{48}{-} 12 = 4$

Then, from the first eqn., $- 10 x + 4 \left(4\right) = - 64 \Rightarrow - 10 x = - 64 - 16 = - 80$

$\Rightarrow x = - \frac{80}{-} 10 = 8$

$\therefore$ The Soln. is, $x = 8 , y = 4.$
