Expand the brackets:
$\to 2 h - 2 + 3 h + 12 = 0$

Unknown to the left, numbers to the right:
(reverse signs when crossing over)

$\to 2 h + 3 h = + 2 - 12 \to 5 h = - 10 \to h = - 2$
