The solution for the system of equations is
color(blue)(x=8,y=10

Explanation:

3x−2y=4.....equation $\left(1\right)$
 y=color(blue)(2x−6.......equation $\left(2\right)$

Solving through substitution

Substituting equation $\left(2\right)$ in equation $\left(1\right)$
3x−2*(color(blue)(2x−6))=4

3x−4x +12=4

$- x + 12 = 4$
color(blue)(x=8

Finding $y$ by substituting $x$ in equation $2$
 y=2x−6

 y=2*8−6

 y=16−6

color(blue)(y=10
