# How do you solve 3x-5y+2z=-13, x+4y-2z=8 and -3x+5y-2z=3?

Feb 13, 2015

There are no solutions to this set of equations.

equation 1: 3x−5y+2z=−13
equation 2: x+4y−2z=8
equation 3: −3x+5y−2z=3

Adding equation 1 and equation 3, we get
$0 \cdot x + 0 \cdot y + 0 \cdot z = - 10$
or
$0 = - 10$
(which is impossible)
