To solve this problem first multiple by 8 across the expression in parenthesis to get:

-32m + 24 = 20

Then subtract 24 from each side to get:

-32m = -4

Then divide by -32 on each side to get:

m = (-4)/-32

m = 4/32

m = 1/8
