Explanation:

As 2x+4>=-4, we have

2x>=-4-4 or

2x>=-8 or x>=-4

Also we have 2x-1<=3 i.e.

2x<=3+1 or

2x<=4 or x<=2

Now as we have x>=-4 as well as x<=2,

the solution can be summarized as

-4<=x<=2
