shifting #1.56# to the L.HS (numerator)

# 4.9/8.4 * 1.56 = b#

on solving:
b #= 0.58 * 1.56 = 0.91#

So the proportion can be represented as:
#4.9/8.4# #=# # 0.91 / 1.56 #

note: on dividing each of the values on L.H.S and R.H.S we get value 0.58

hence L.H.S #=# R.H.S and both are in proportion.
