These two equations have no solution.

Given -

#5x-y=4# -------------(2)

Solve Both equations for #y#

#y-8 = 5x#
#y=5x+8#

Slope of the first equation #m_1=5#

#-y=4-5x#
#y=-4+5x#
Slope of the second equation #m_2=5#

Since the slopes of the two equations are the same. They are parallel.

These two equations have no solution.
