Simplify the left side of the equation:
$- \frac{x}{2} = \frac{x + 7}{x - 11}$

Multiply both sides by $\left(- 2\right) \left(x - 11\right)$
${x}^{2} - 11 x = - 2 x - 14$

Re-arrange terms to the left side
${x}^{2} - 9 x + 14 = 0$

Factor
$\left(x - 7\right) \left(x - 2\right) = 0$

State solutions:
$x = 7$ or $x = 2$
