Before I show you the other way I need to explain what percent is.

Let us look at the name "Percent".

Splitting this word we start with "per". This means 'for each of'.

Now lets look the word part "cent". Think for a moment about another word that contains this part word. That word is "century".
This 100 years. So "Percent" means for each 100.

Percentage is really a fraction but the bottom number (denominator) is fixed at 100. So for example 50 percent is in fact `50/100`
