# How do you write an equation of y=sinx with pi units to the left?

Not exactly sure what you are asking here. If you mean translating the curve of sin(x) $\pi$ units to the left, then:
$y = \sin \left(x + \pi\right)$, will be the curve of $\sin \left(x\right)$ shifted $\pi$ units to the left.
