# How do you write the Keq equation?

Aug 19, 2016

The Keq equation is written as a mathematical constant being equal to the product of the concentration of the products divided by the product of the concentration of the reactants

#### Explanation:

It is important to remember it is the product of the concentrations

If there is a coefficient of two or more in the equation then that concentration must be multiplied twice ( squared )

The numerator is always the right side of the equation the products
The denominator is always the left side of the equation the reactants.

A + B = C + 2 D

Keq = $\frac{\left\{C\right\} \times {\left\{D\right\}}^{2}}{\left\{A\right\} \times \left\{B\right\}}$
