Explanation:

Air movement causes the advection of heat. If cooler air is moving over warmer land we call this cold air advection and if warm air is moving over cooler land we call this, you guess it, warm air advection.

Due to density differences air parcels do not readily mix. This is why heat doesn't mix quickly and you end up having advection happening instead of the wind mixing the air.
