If the second law of thermodynamics is correct the nature of living things is one of movement to less complex and degenerate organisms.

Explanation:

The laws of information discovered by Shannon indicate that information transfer and translation are governed by entropy ,the second law of thermodynamics.

DNA is an information code. When the laws of information are applied to DNA it indicates that mutations will always result in less specified information. This means that living things will degenerate

The second law indicates that the nature of living things is going downhill become less and less complex, the opposite of what is predicted by Darwinian evolution of descent with modification. .
