How does the Bohr model of the atom relate to the periodic table?

Bohr model predicts the correct electronic configuration of atoms in terms of principal energy shells. (Though it can't accurately explain atomic spectra of multi electron atoms and contradicts the uncertainty principle).


The periodic table is arranged in terms of the atomic number and thus the electronic configuration of elements to explain periodicity in their properties.

Thus, Bohr model helps us understand that part.
