The will be no change in the person's ability to show emotions.

Explanation:

Hippocampus is involved in long term memory storage. A person with a damaged hippocampus will have all the memories of his childhood up till the time of the injury, but very little to no memory of what happened after the injury depending on to what extent is the hippocampus damaged. It can also result in a loss of ability to form new memories in the person. There will be no hindernace in exhibiting basic emotions whatsoever however the inability to form new memories can leave the person in confusion.
