How is solubility of a gas in a liquid affected by the temperature?

Gas solubility is DECREASED with increasing temperature................

Explanation:

Ever tasted boiled water that has just been cooled? It tastes quite flat due to absence of dissolved oxygen gas. In general, the higher the temperature, the less soluble the gas in the liquid phase.

If we look at some actual data, and of course as physical scientists we should do so, we see that in for most gases, the solubility decreases as temperature increases.
