Explanation:

I will try to explain with one example. We understand that land gets much heated during the day as compared to sea. As such the air in contact with hot land rises up and cooler air rushes from sea.

During the night land cools a lot faster, while the air over sea is relatively hotter and reverse flow of wind is there.

Similarly uneven heating of earth due to different places being on equator, in tropics and towards the poles causes different kind of winds.

Hence, one can say that wind is related to the uneven heating of Earth's surfaces by the sun.
