Explanation:

i personally have stored PVDF membrane for about a year in 1x TBST buffer at 4°C. there are other ways to store the membrane which includes use of milliQ water and sealing the membrane in a packet for long-term storage like in years.

it would be better to store it in milliQ water, if you want to store for really long duration, as it doesn't have any ions so it doesn't try to interact with the protein which is attached to the membrane. keeping the membrane as it is.
