Apocalypse for the Sun system might be after at least 7.4 billion years.

Explanation:

For any star., life span is at least 100 billion years (BY).

For our star Sun, the estimate is 12 BY.

And now, the Sun is about 4.6 BY old.

The Sun system might be extinct, after about 7.4 BY.

In my opinion, this apocalyptic event (of duration a few BY) of

drawing of solar orbiters into the waning, shrinking and dying Sun

would not wait for the drawing of the Sun, as a living

star orbiter of its parent galaxy Milky Way, into the center of Milky

Way..
