# In a titration, NaOH was added to a burette. The initial reading was 1.2 ml. At the end of the titration, the final reading was 24.8 ml. What was the volume of NaOH that was added?

Note that burettes are generally calibrated to $0.1$ $m L$ $\pm 0.05$ $m L$. If your eyes are good you can often estimate the space between the $0.1$ $m L$ divisions to read say $21.52$ $m L$ volumes.
As another tip, when I use a burette I always refill the burette to $0$ volume; this way I only have to jot down the final figure.
