Distillation is a physical change.

Explanation:

Physical changes are largely changes of state. Boiling a liquid, and condensing the distillate are such changes of state and clearly this represents a physical process.

On the other hand, chemical changes involve the making and breaking of chemical bonds and the formation of new substances.
