We've reached an important milestone!

Explanation:

Something really special happened this past Monday -- the Socratic community's contributions reached #color(red)(ul(color(black)("30 million students")))# from across the world!

To put this amazing achievement into perspective, Socratic reached #"10 million"# students helped on February 8, 2016

This means that in a little over #10# months, the number of students helped has tripled, which should come as no surprise given the insatiable appetite our community has for sharing knowledge and helping students learn!

This achievement belongs to each and every person who contributed on Socratic, if only one answer, edit, or question. We've built this together and we're definitely not going to stop now!

In fact, how about some inside scoop from Becca on how the Socratic team feels about this milestone

When we set out to build Socratic over three years ago, we hoped the site would attract those who wanted to share their knowledge with the world.

But we never dreamed that so many of the world’s brightest, most committed, most giving individuals would find a home on Socratic: making learning easier for students with every answer you write.

Today, we are positively beaming with pride at this milestone, grateful for what each of you has contributed to making this a reality for 30-freakin-million students.

Thank you for continuing to astonish us and giving us reason to keep building toward this mission. Here’s to the next 30 mil!

In closing, I'd like to say CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to you, the members of the Socratic community, for being willing to share so much of your time and knowledge with the world!

Oh, and see you all at #color(red)(ul(color(black)("50 million students helped")))# !!! :D
