Any real number will work for x

A number line with a continuous line in both directions to infinity will work.

Explanation:

3(x-8)-2(10-x)<5(x-1)
First lets convert this to something easier to manage
Left side
3x-24-20+2x
5x-44
Right side
5x-5
New but equal equation
5x-44<5x-5
Add 5 to either side
5x-39<5x
As you can see any real number inputted for x will work because the left side will always be 39 less than the right side.
