What are some examples of cartilage?

Cartilage is a special connective tissue. There are three types.

1. Hyaline cartilage which is found as the embryonic skeleton, costal cartilages, cartilage of the nose, trachea, lining of the ends of some bones and the larynx.
   

2. Elastic cartilage which is found in the external ear and epiglottis.

1. Fibrocartilage which form the intervertebral discs and the pubic symphysis.
